Windows font manager?

Post by Woody44 »

I just received the "Black Week" e-mail. I noticed that SoftMaker Office Universal says it includes a font manager for Windows fonts. Where can I find more information on this font manager and how it works? Is it the same font manager that's included with the MegaFONT Now collection? I have that, I've had it for several years, and I still can't figure out what it is or how it's supposed to help me manage fonts.

The SoftMaker Office NX suite provides a "2500 Office NX Fonts" package. While some fonts within this package may overlap with those from our other collections (such as MegaFont), each font collection also includes unique fonts not found elsewhere.

The accompanying utility, "fontman.exe," serves to manage these fonts, enabling users to install and uninstall, group, activate and deactivate groups of fonts included in the package as well as any fonts sourced externally.

With respect raittis.veksejs, your reply did not answer my question.
To repeat my question:

#1 The manual doesn't have a manual, the features are pretty self-explanatory. If you have issue with anything, report them to us.

#2 It is the same font manager as for the MegaFONT NOW collection.

I have posted previously that the font manager needs a user manual. It is NOT "pretty self-explanatory." In fact, it is not at all self-explanatory. I bought the Megafont NOW collection several years ago so I have the font manager and I have tried to use it. How it works and what it does is completely opaque. Without clear and concise instructions and explanations, it is useless.
